At the final Los Lagos Vistas coffee social of the season, the Denovan Real Estate Group presented a $500 donation on behalf of former resident Dale Edington.

Dale was a long-time winter resident and recently relocated closer to home. She selected the Los Lagos Vistas Social Committee to receive the donation, part of the real estate group’s commission that is given back to the community.

On hand to present the check were Linda Denovan and her daughter, Sammy Denovan. Their community-service program, Sold on Giving (www.SoldOnGiving.com), returns a portion of every home sale to charities and community-service organizations on behalf of the client.

Joyce Witte, Los Lagos Vistas social committee chair, said the committee is grateful to receive the funds for Los Lagos Vistas community projects, and thanked Dale for thinking of Los Lagos Vistas.

Linda said she and Sam have sold more than 24 units in Los Lagos Vistas and neighboring Los Lagos—most of the sales were here. Linda has been in business more than 20 years, and daughter Sam joined the team about seven years ago.

They both are very supportive of Lake Havasu. Linda volunteers on the Western Arizona Humane Society’s board and the Havasu Community Health Foundation board.

The team sells one to two houses every week. With each house they sell, they donate to a local charity chosen by their clients. Many of Havasu Health Foundation Programs have been recipients. Denovan’s program has given more than $465,000 back to the community.

Linda moved to Havasu with her husband 25 years ago. She had served as a CEO of a housewares distribution company. Her marketing talents helped the company become recognized as an Inc. 500 business.

Linda and her daughters were born in Dinkelsbuehl, Germany. They regularly visit their hometown, voted prettiest small town in Germany.

Linda says the current real estate market is good because there is a lot of moving in and out. She said 40% of local sales are cash, and Lake Havasu City has one of the nation’s highest second-home ownership rates.

Where do her customers come from?  “Anywhere there’s snow,” she said.
