Flyin' In
The 12th Annual Havasu Balloon Festival and Fair launched early Thursday evening with a flock flying over Los Lagos Vistas.
More floated through with flames blasting early Friday morning.
The colorful festival, Jan. 19-22, continues at Windsor Beach 4, Arizona State Park with more than 70 Hot Air balloons including specialty designs featuring Elvis and a UFO.
Enjoy food, entertainment and carnival rides, plus a kite exhibition Sunday.

Two Candidates on Ballot
Only two candidates submitted nomination forms for the upcoming HOA Board of Directors election, Jason Hart, current president, and Mark Holmes, current treasurer.
The election will be held at the February annual meeting at the Hampton Inn on London Bridge Road. Board officers are selected at a followup Board meeting.
Old Glory Waves
The big American flag at McCulloch and Acoma installed by Sloan's restaurant was fully unfurled during recent windy days. The brand-new flag on a newly restored pole was dedicated to veterans and first responders.

A disheveled wall between Circles 6 and 7 got a maintenance team makeover recently as the maintenance team undid previous team's mistakes and put a fresh look on the area.

Los Lagos Vistas HOA provides rock and approved rock selections for homeowner use in common areas and parking circles to help reduce water use and cut utility costs.

DON'T FEED WILDLIFE
Ground feeding birds or throwing out snacks to rabbits attracts rats and mice and hungry predators, such as coyotes and bobcats. Please only feed birds from appropriate bird feeders and don't leave discarded fruit, vegetables, or meat on the grass. City and county fines range from $750 to $5,000.
