Circle 4 Pathway Roughed In

One of the final segments remaining on the Los Lagos Vistas Perimeter Path is nearing completion. Funded by a city water conservation grant, the pathway segment replaced a grassy knoll area with decorative rock, boulders, and desert plants.

D&D Landscaping completed the latest segment as part of a plan to complete the path along the north wash that borders the complex. Segments from Montana Vista around Circles 1, 2, and 3 have been completed with city grant funds, which pay half of project costs.

A short gravel segment remains at the end of the Circle 4 segment and the beginning of the Circle 5 segment. The Maintenance Team will also be addressing tractor ruts left in some of the grassy areas and remaining irrigation line fixes.

Early Work Hours OK'd

Enjoying Music

As temperatures begin to rise, Los Lagos Vistas maintenance crews and contractors will be starting work earlier.

The state approved earlier hours to begin at 5 am. weekdays and 7 a.m. Saturdays, and there's good reasons behind it. Check out the blog post to learn more.

Good time for new noise cancelling headphones.

Nice Work!

Jason and Maria Hart finished off the new retaining wall by the dog area in Circle 7. This is where the Perimeter Path terminates into the parking lot and maintenance shed.

 Path Nears Completion

A section of recently upgraded path widening and grass removal has been completed along the north wash.

After about five years of work, the Perimeter Path is nearing completion.

It's taken a lot of volunteer work and coordination with the Los Lagos Vistas maintenance team, but a recent grant opportunity is expediting completion.

A test phase near Iverson Park and along the wash by Circles 1, 2, and 3 has been completed. If the grant reimbursement works and costs are affordable, the HOA Board may complete the next phase around Circles 4 and 5.

The work includes path widening, grass removal, edging, rockscaping, and xeriscaping.

Trash Pickup Goes Weekly

Starting May 12, trash pickup goes from twice weekly to once weekly on Fridays. The move saves about $600 monthly during the summer months when fewer residents are home.

If a bin gets overloaded, let the maintenance team know to tamp down the trash. Please collapse boxes to save space.  If a bin is too full, residents may take trash to other circle bins.
